InfoSpace's Community Services consist of the "Personal Information Management" tool (PIM), e-Mail, and SyncNOW. - Personal Information Management tool (PIM): InfoSpace provides a full-featured PIM tool on the PC and on the phone, which includes a Calendar, ToDo list, and Address Book. The InfoSpace PIM offers functionality closely resembling that of Microsoft Outlook.
- Calendar: Personal calendar users can synchronise with MS OutlookTM, Lotus NotesTM, and Symantec Act!TM on the desktop using the InfoSpace SyncNOW application.
- To-Do List: Users can keep track of tasks, from the PC or wireless device, and mark them off as they are completed.
- Address Book: Full functionality address book enables users to manage contacts, folders, and groups.
- Web-Based Email: InfoSpace provides either a fully hosted email solution or InfoSpace Email can point to a carrier's hosted email service. In addition, customers can either enter additional POP3 accounts, for access through the ISP's web or phone interface, enabling the forwarding of all emails to a single mailbox.
- SyncNOW: Community Services also includes a desktop synchronisation engine called "SyncNow" that allows users to synchronise their iPIM (internet PIM) with their desktop PIM (such as Microsoft Outlook). This synchronisation engine also works in the corporate environment where firewalls are commonplace. SyncNow is an add-in to Microsoft Outlook that allows the synchronisation of calendar events, contacts, and tasks. SyncNow supports MS OutlookTM, Outlook ExpressTM, Lotus NotesTM, and Symantec Act!TM.

Alerts enable users to receive notices anywhere, at anytime, on any computer or text-enabled wireless device to help them stay informed or take immediate action. Users can preset their Alerts from a wide range of categories, including news, stock quotes, sports scores, weather, lottery results, and horoscopes. These alerts can be tailored to the individual needs of the consumer, and delivered when they need it.

InfoSpace's desktop control panel can be branded for its customers and provides users with instant access to their personalised information, including the calendar, adress book, and email, as well as links to the client's communication tools. The toolbar also serves as the control panel for "Instant Messaging" and "Chat". It enables users to set up their personal devices, establishes their groups (or buddy lists), and send and receive email from the PC and mobile devices.

InfoSpace offers full Instant Messaging on the PC and the phone. Users can set up instantmessaging on their desktop or wireless modem device, and have messages automatically forwarded to their mobile phone, based on their preferences. From the phone, users can view their group lists, see who's on line, and send and receive instant messages. The instant Messaging feature also supports the creation of buddy lists, as well as private or public access to communication devices.
